My own work and how it helped me

My planning, including the script and shot list, helped me clarify the structure of my project and stay focused on my main ideas. It also allowed me to visualize each scene in advance, making the filming process more organized and efficient.

To improve my future videos, I could work on stabilizing the camera during filming and ensuring better lighting for clearer visuals. I would also focus on balancing audio levels more carefully and making smoother edits for a more professional final product.

What i have learnt from this recreation

I have learned that mise-en-scène is a crucial element in film and television because it helps tell the story visually and sets the overall mood and tone. Every detail — from the lighting, costume, and props to the setting and actor placement — works together to create meaning and emotion. It can reveal a lot about the characters, time period, and themes without needing dialogue. By carefully planning the mise-en-scène, filmmakers can guide the audience’s attention and make scenes more powerful and memorable.
